We all know that water is important, but you may never have seen it written like this before. Did you know that....

75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (about 1/2 of the world population)

In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

Even mild dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.

Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water per day could significantly reduce back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy, short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or a printed page.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily, decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

You know how we keep telling you to just get out and exercise? You may not have any idea where to start, so it's just easier to do nothing. The weather is getting nice, get outside.

We have found a group that will help you eliminate all your excuses.

Women In Motion is a fitness training company made up of women for women. The three founders/coaches have years of coaching experience and two are certified personal trainers.

Their goal is to help women transition into a healthier life style through exercise whether it be walking, running, or other physical activity.

We will be giving you treatment ideas in each newsletter.

This months treatment uses the 4" ball. If you've been to our clinic, you should have one. If you don't, stop by to get one.

Lay on the floor or on a bed. Place the 4-inch ball under your back. Find an area that is sore or painful. Let yourself soften onto the ball, waiting there until your body and your muscles are loose, and more fluid. Breathe slowly and let yourself "melt" over the ball. Stay on the ball, softening, for 3 to 5 minutes. Move the ball to a new spot, searching again for soreness to 'melt it away.'

Now roll over onto your belly, trying the ball anywhere in the area between your ribs and your pelvis. Soften, breathe deeply and feel yourself getting more fluid and at ease.
