All the News That's "FIT" Don't forget 'Me'

Greetings!

Happy Holidays!

With Christmas right around the corner, it's easy to put your health needs on the 'back burner'. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor by continuing to take care of yourself, especially through the stress of the holidays.

In this issue, we will give you some suggestions on good choices to make to take care of you.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then is not an act, but a habit." ~Aristotle~

Sometimes we need to be able to say "enough" or even "I need a break".

Winter is the perfect time for this reminder. A time for rest. It reminds us that part of the endless cycle involves slowing down, resting, reflecting.

We sometimes forget this important part of our healing cycle. We focus on more growth, more healing, more, more, more! Then we wonder why we don't have peace in our lives.

We can be in constant chaos because every morning we are asking for more growth. So, the world gives us what we ask for. It lovingly brings forward fears and triggers so that we can grow. It gives us what we ask for- chaos!

The truth becomes clear- If we want a break, we need to ask for it. If life seems too much, too chaotic, say "Enough".

This can lead to a big shift. We keep focusing on where we want to go next and don't really take time to appreciate how far we have already come. A shift of appreciation can lead to a wonderful new balance in life.

So, during this Holiday season, what if we all take some time to appreciate our gifts and the progress that we have made. Note the small changes. We will be surprised at how many changes have actually happened. Those small changes really add up. Appreciate our bodies and the amazing ability that we have for healing.

    Happy Holidays everyone!

What you eat makes a difference.

For Interstitial Cystitis Sufferers, there are certain foods that badly irritate the bladders.

The top forbidden foods & beverages are those that bother most IC patients most of the time. They are NOTORIOUS for causing IC flares. Even one small serving a day can trigger a night of sleeplessness and pain.

If you want your bladder to calm down, your first step is to eliminate these risk foods.
