Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy

As a therapy clinic we are not traditional, in that, we do not do what everyone else does. We actually use our hands! And our hearts. We are all trained in The John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach. We use our hands to detect tension in the muscles and the surrounding fascia. Fascia is a protective thin barrier that surrounds all tissue in the body. It is supportive but at the same time can cause restrictions analogues to a “straight jacket”  causing strain patterns, shortening of some muscles and over stretching others; creating pain and pressure on sensitive structure. Review the list of common diagnoses that we can help you with.

We do not utilize machines or oils, only our hands directly on skin for improved palpation of the fascial restrictions and barriers. Each session includes Myofascial treatment along with education on a self treatment  recommendations’ for continued benefits and allow for facilitation of deeper releases during treatment sessions.

People turn to clinics like ours when all other options for returning to a productive and active life have failed. Individuals seeking freedom from pain of all causes find relief with John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach. Our clinic treatments are modeled after those in Paoli, Pa and Sedona, Az. Destinations that people travel to from all over the world in search of relief from chronic pain.

Health and Wellness: Massage Therapy and Occupational Therapy

We have massage therapists  trained in the Barnes’ Approach to Myofascial release. Massage therapy services are utilized by individuals that require a “fascial tune up” from time to time due to either having a chronic condition and/or stressful lifestyles.  Treatment sessions are offered for one hour or longer, with one therapist or two.
